Multidisciplinary engineering,from concept to commissioning.

H₂

Systems engineering for hydrogen stations

I help get hydrogen stations through acceptance and into reliable operation, from the control code up.

  • FAT/SAT acceptance campaigns per EN 17127: MC-formula pressure corridors, APRR verification, automated test reporting (SAE J2601 / J2799)
  • PLC programming (Siemens, Bachmann): control sequences and limits derived from real thermodynamic boundary conditions
  • Availability monitoring and fault analysis for compressors, dispensers and refrigeration circuits
Case study: 70 MPa acceptance testing
PythonpandasGrafanaInfluxDBPLC / IEC 61131-3
H₂

Operational platforms & dispatch software

I help build the software that runs hydrogen logistics: from demand forecast to reconciled delivery.

  • Dispatch tools: demand forecasting, run-empty risk, automated order and tour planning
  • Delivery detection from pressure telemetry, matched against delivery notes and certificates
  • RFNBO / ETS & RED III compliance reconciliation: sustainability proofs matched to physical deliveries
  • System architecture and implementation of custom software: from requirements and data model to a running platform
Case study: national H2 dispatch platform

Predictive & prescriptive maintenance

Fewer failures, better maintenance windows, forecasts that admit their uncertainty.

  • Multivariate time-series analysis on pressure, temperature and flow data
  • Prescriptive maintenance for compressors and refrigeration: vibration, ultrasonic and power-draw analysis
  • Pragmatic model selection: SARIMAX and gradient boosting before foundation models
Concept study: compressor health monitoring
scikit-learnXGBoostSARIMAXProphetPyTorch
ELECTRIC

Concept studies, fleet & infrastructure planning

Where to build, and whether the truck actually makes the route in winter.

  • Feasibility and techno-economic studies for charging and refueling infrastructure
  • Route and energy simulation for electric and hydrogen truck fleets
  • Site optimization: grid capacity, traffic flows, logistics clusters, TEN-T corridors
  • Specifications and tender support: requirements, supplier evaluation, design review
Live demo: truck route planner

AI-assisted engineering workflows

LLM agents where they save engineering hours: documents, reports, data preparation.

  • Document pipelines: delivery notes, certificates and test reports parsed into structured data
  • Retrieval over standards and manuals; automation of recurring engineering reports
LLM APIsPythonOCR

Technical project management

I support energy-infrastructure and data projects from planning to handover, with the engineering depth to challenge suppliers, not just track them.

  • Hydrogen systems: planning, supplier coordination, commissioning schedules and acceptance milestones
  • Electrical and battery systems: grid connection, storage integration, installation and handover
  • Data projects: pipelines for prescriptive maintenance and operational dashboards, from scoping to rollout
  • Independent review of supplier designs, offers and test results (owner's engineer)

I love bridging fields to find innovative solutions.

I am a systems engineer (B.Sc., TU Delft) and developer with ten years in hydrogen systems. Along the way I kept running into a gap between hands-on, greasy operations engineering in the field and the traces those same systems leave in the software and data world. I made that interdisciplinary space my specialty: from thermodynamics to TypeScript, from hard operating limits to machine learning. The method I settled on is always the same: understand the physics first, then build the data and software around it.

Machine learning and AI are not always the answer, but when they are, I can help implement them so your processes and systems run smoother. Have a project at the intersection of energy engineering, data and software, or simply curious what the data you already collect could tell you? Let’s schedule a call to see how I can help.
